Elon Musk: The Boring Company will bring a solution of big cities traffic problem
When the project first started the Vegas Loop was supposed to be a 29-mile tunnel network connecting 51 stations. Now, the network will span 34 miles and have a total of 55 stations. So, when will The Boring Company start digging the extra tunnels?
According to the news of Las Vegas Review-Journal, company’s president Steve Davis said tunneling in downtown Las Vegas could begin in 2023. The company will create entry and exit stations for tunnels at certain points in the city, each of the stations will cost an estimated $15-20 million.
The Boring Company is already digging tunnels in certain areas, but according to some reports only 1.7 miles of the Vegas Loop are operational right now. It is unclear when the project will be completed, permits required for works make it difficult for Elon Musk.
